Nissaki North East Corfu

Nissaki Village

The village of Nissaki is half and hour’s drive north of Corfu Town. It is famous for its small but graphic harbor along the eastern coast of Corfu set against the slopes of Mount Pandocrator in the background and the olive trees that come down to meet the white shingly beach.
From here you can hop on an organized boat trip up the coast or even rent your own little motor boat and be your captain for the day. In fact whilst staying at Amalia Complex you don’t need a car at all. Simply walk, swim and boat. From here you can catch the boat to Corfu Town or walk along the coastal footpath as far as Kerasia Beach and beyond.

Things to do in Nissaki

There are plenty of good restaurants in Nissaki with homemade food and front row seats to the sea. There are at least three mini markets in the area one of which is run by Amalia Complex. A regular bus service along the coast can get you to some of the many exceptional beaches and resorts like Barbati, Kassiopi and San Stefanos along the way.

Corfu Island

Throughout its long history Corfu Island has been a crossroad of cultures and distinguished visitors. It is this experience in welcoming and taking care of guests that has given Corfu its longstanding position as a popular holiday destination. Its natural beauty, its rich culture and the versatility of experiences it offers make it a unique experience time and time again.

Getting Here

Nissaki is 23 kilometers from Corfu International Airport and more or less the same distance from the Port of Corfu. A taxi costs around 45 Euro. A hired car is perhaps the easiest option (See Nepheli Rent A Car, our brother website). Amalia Complex is on your left hand side along the northeastern coastal road from Corfu Town to Kassiopi.
